Many times when we work with customers on designing sites, we aren’t in the same room together – we’re on the phone or chatting online. When a customer wants to communicate a specific color to us, they sometimes tell us to go look at a website or they send us a picture and say, “That red down by the bottom of the picture, that’s the color we want our footer to be,” or something similar. Needless to say, it isn’t an exact science.

While going through this process, one of our customers Prosperity Candle (whose site is still under construction at this point), sent us a couple of tools that they used as part of the process and we’re pretty impressed with them. Check them out:
