Berkshire Direct’s (BDI) Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to BDI. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. Personally Identifiable Information: The only personally identifiable information BDI collects is information you provide to BDI when you “fill out” one of the forms on our web sites. You may use these forms to request information from BDI, or to sign up for our e-newsletter. The types of personal information BDI collects vary by form and may include your name, post office address, e-mail address, phone number, credit/debit card information and answers to survey questions.
How We Use Information
BDI uses the anonymous information it collects to gauge web site traffic, determine its most popular pages, and evaluate its web site. BDI does not share, distribute or sell e-mail addresses or other personally identifiable information. You can opt out of BDI’s e-mail communications at any time. Each e-mail BDI sends will indicate how to unsubscribe from the list via e-mail or via a web page.
Third-Party Access to Personally Identifiable Information
BDI provides personally identifiable information to its web site service providers: VerticalResponse and 1ShoppingCart, on a strictly confidential basis to enable the platforms to maintain a payment database, send e-mail messages and provide other web site-related services for BDI.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, BDI has put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We store your personally identifiable information on secure servers. Our third-party vendors accept credit card donations only via a secure server.

BDI’s web sites do not read, place or accept cookies.

Should our practices change, this notice will be immediately updated. Regardless of later updates, we will never use the information you submit under this current notice in a new way (in a way not described in this notice) without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
